All parents/caregivers must report their child’s:

Walking or biking is:
- A healthy way to start the day
- Environmentally friendly
? Chimney Hill Parking Lot – Staff Only
- You may enter to drop off your child in designated areas.
- You must not leave your vehicle.
- If you wish to walk your child to class:
- Please park on the street or walk to school.
Help us keep your children safe.
? Safety When Leaving School
- Pick up your child promptly at dismissal time from their outside classroom door.
- No supervision is available before or after school at the office.

?? Visitor Badges
All visitors (parents, guardians, caregivers) must:
- Check in at the office
- Wear a visitor badge
This ensures all adults in the building are recognized as safe.
? Skateboards, Scooters & Bicycles
- These are great for commuting!
- Not allowed on the playground during school hours (8:20 AM – 2:45 PM).
- Must be locked in bike racks outside the gym.

- Promotion of alcohol or drugs

- Racist or bigoted messages

Devices include:
Cell phones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches
Purpose:
Support learning, accessibility, health needs, and equity
Guidelines:
- Devices must follow the school code of conduct, laws, and BC Human Rights Code
- No bullying, harassment, discrimination, or defamation
- Use during class only at the teacher’s discretion
- Must be put away during recess/lunch (unless medically required)
- Not to be used during lockdowns or drills
- No recording staff or students without consent

Each teacher will set their own classroom policy and ensure students and parents are informed.
